Jenny Lynn`s Cafe in Porterville

They used to have the best Fish N' Chips. I used to get cravings for it! However they seem to have changed the fish batter recently. I don't like it and the french fries are no longer fresh cut as well. I don't know if this is going to be a temporary thing or permanent? I was there last night for a take-out and the french fries I received were the frozen type, yuck!

Food is great! Waitresses not so much.On St Patrick’s Day we were served a quarter of raw Cabbage with Corned Beef.When we told the Owners Wife that just happened to be serving us.She said to take it home and finish cooking it.Wrong Answer!!! I don’t take anyone out to eat either for Business or Pleasure and allow this to happen. Especially not to a Senior Citizen.This was last year. Don’t expect change this year. I’m passing! Too bad otherwise the food is Amazing.Waitresses need a Attitude adjustment

I love having breakfast there. They are very nice there. The food there is so good. This was one of my grandpas favorite place to eat.

Terrible food. Husband ordered the fried chicken and the inside was still frozen. Bread was stale. Turkey on my sandwich was gelatinous mystery meat.

We had to try their Friday night special of Fish & Chips with clam chowder. It was amazing!!!! So delicious. It wasn't greasy, target sauce was great & big portions! Clean place with friendly staff.!!

Love this place. Good variety of breakfast food. 2 thick patties for your cheese burger. Friendly staff. Quick service and fast with the refills.

Very clean eating area. Friendly staff with excellent service. Fair prices, good menu items and comfortable atmosphere. They have good specials and some seasonal items too. To be fair, the only downside is the parking and accessibility. Some asphalt and a large granite area north of the cafe. Lots of dust. Otherwise, it would be a solid 5 stars.

I really enjoyed eating at this buffet. The food was really rich in flavor. I also enjoyed the fact that the server was really nice to me. Unfortunately, it is getting harder and harder to find good service in Vegas. A lot of people in Vegas are rude and dishonest these days. However, my experience at this buffet was really good. They were friendly towards me. The buffet is a little pricey but the price is worth it for the quality of food. I like how they have separate stations for the various types of food. I like the fact that this buffet is south of the strip. I don't have to deal with much traffic to get there. I highly recommend this buffet.

American food to blend for us ,no flavor

Great breakfast place. Always stop when in Porterville for business. The Salsa Verde is awazing on top of an omelet. Service is always great. Jenny takes care of her patrons like they sre family at the dinning room table.

This spot is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for fair prices. Regularly well kept and with excellent atmosphere. Would recommend to others.

Anything here that involves chicken is absolutely delicious and made well. The food is amazing and the staff is the friendliest I’ve ever seen.

Has changed hands several times since it first opened, but it's now a great place to eat.

Jenny Lynn's provides a safe, calming atmosphere. It's has amazing breakfast and amazing lunch and dinner dishes. I was here with my family and we all loved the food. We come to Jenny Lynns from time to time, so this time, I decided to leave a review.

I had the fish and chips meal with my girlfriend tonight, it was a pleasant meal, and Carlos was a great hostess, we will return again, God bless 🙏

No other restaurant gives you a home town feel like Jenny Lynn's. Pretty standard feel good food. Daily specials and good wine and beer. Great for family dinners or catching up with old friends. Definite family feel. Restrooms inside. Plenty of parking. Friendly, and attentive service. Reasonable pricing. Right off freeway. I typically order breakfast for lunch when I pull in.

This is "the Friday spot" great people the waiters Are awesome, always smiling... the food is just amazing and I just love this place, it's nana and Tata's Friday spot... today I had the seafood combo for under $15 with either a soup or salad I chose the soup cause they make homemade clam chowder and the seafood was awesome... when you visit tell them Anthony sent you!

Wait staff is local and friendly. The food is always decent, they have typical deli/homemade options. It's a very laid-back atmosphere.

Food was good but the white gravy had a little too much black pepper. Other than that, the food was good. Its been awhile since I've been there the price wasnt too bad but I cant afford to go too often.

I certainly liked the dishes and customer service, awesome area next to my home. The employees are always very welcoming. Will come visit again.

We had the turkey & avocado sandwiches on rye bread with onion rings. It had a couple of thick slices of turkey with fresh avocados on a fresh baked rye bread. Delicious! The onion rings were beer battered and crispy with every bite and the onion didn't come sliding out. Service was great and reasonable prices

This is a very quaint little breakfast/lunch cafe. Waitress didn't seem like she was very happy to be there, but she wasn't rude or anything. The tomato vinaigrette on the salad kind of tasted like ketchup, but I've never had that kind of vinaigrette before so i have nothing to compare it to. Delicious french dip. I would go back and recommend to friends.

Fridays they have Fish N Chips special and it's awesome. I was also impressed with their Chocolate, Strawberry and vanilla milk shakes! Old school type 50s shake with metal cup with a spoon nd glass with Cherry on topped with whip creme.

One of my favorite places. Food is always amazing. They make the best soups!!
